Etihad [unwanted] Guest #2

Now not only can I not use my Silver card at the Abu Dhabi lounge unless I have a Business Class flight and my Eithad Miles now have an expiry date, they are now actually reducing the number of miles I can earn! When I fly to Heathrow in slob class I was getting 3409 miles, now (only because I am a Silver Card holder) I am getting 2557 miles. I presume "Fare Class" E, U, V, L, Q, M and K would represent 90% of flights booked and H, B and Y would be those "arm and a leg" flights when you have no choice but to take them at the inflated price.

Example:For Travel from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow flown distance = 3409

Seriously Etihad, your service levels are down, your food is worse, your prices are getting higher and now my Guest Card is becoming irrelevant. Come back BA all is forgiven??

  1. Mate,
As a former employee, I can truthfully say that EY has no interest in you, the passenger, anymore. Its all about the Dirhams. Nothing more, nothing less, the shiekhs must break even and the Aussie that runs the place is more interested in his bonus for making that goal than your premium traveling experience.
